Our faith
“For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord.” (2 Corinthians 4:5)
Everything we do at Jireh Mission – Hope & Help springs from our faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the world. He is the center of our vision, message, and mission. Without Him, our work would be merely a social activity. Through Him, every help becomes an eternal work.
1. We believe in the Word of God
The Bible is the inspired, perfect, and infallible Word of God, the only authority for faith and life.
We base every decision, project, and teaching on Scripture.
We believe the Gospel of Christ has the power to save, heal, and transform any heart, any family, and any nation.
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)
2. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sent into the world to save humanity.
He lived without sin, died for our sins, was buried, rose on the third day, and ascended to heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father.
Through His sacrifice we have forgiveness, deliverance, and new life.
Jesus is the center of our ministry:
in Him we find the perfect model of love;
in His cross we see the greatest help;
in His resurrection we have the power to go on.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
3. We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit, in the manifestation of spiritual gifts, and in a life full of power and holiness.
Our work is not driven by human ideas, but by the guidance of the Spirit of God.
We pray for healing, miracles, and restoration, but above all—for holiness, purity, and spiritual fruit.
Every project, mission, and decision begins with prayer and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6)
4. We believe in the Church of Christ
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of people redeemed by grace, born again, and led by the Holy Spirit.
We consider ourselves part of the universal Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in unity with all who live and proclaim the Gospel in purity and truth.
We promote unity among churches, joint work, and Christian collaboration, because we do not build human kingdoms, but the Kingdom of God.
“That they all may be one, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” (John 17:21)
5. We believe in mission—the calling to go
The work of Jireh Mission exists to fulfill the Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
We believe the Gospel must be preached to the ends of the earth—through words, deeds, and love.
We engage in villages, tribes, cities, and Roma communities, so that no one remains without the good news of salvation.
Our mission is spiritual and practical:
- we preach, and we feed;
- we teach, and we build;
- we pray, and we work.
For true faith works through love.
6. We believe in baptism, holiness, and new life
We believe in water baptism, in a sanctified life, and in living in obedience to the Word of God.
The confession of faith is not only through words, but through daily deeds and a pure character.
Every believer is called to be a light in the darkness and a living testimony of the grace of Christ.
“Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16)
7. We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ will return for His Church.
This hope keeps us watchful and motivates us to live purely, to serve faithfully, and to carry the Gospel further, so that many may be ready for that day.
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to his work.” (Revelation 22:12)
Until then, we want to be faithful in little things, strong in faith, and living lights in the midst of this world.
All for Jesus
Everything we do—every meal offered, every house built, every child supported, every prayer spoken—is for the glory of God.
Nothing is ours; everything is His.
We answer the call to be the hands and feet of Christ for this generation.
“Jehovah Jireh – The Lord will provide.” (Genesis 22:14)
He is the One who provides for the mission, the people, and the future.
All for Jesus. All by the Holy Spirit. All to the glory of the Father.
